Hi,
My name is Greg Thompson of Lewisville, In. I will be coming to the Henryville/Marysville area for the months of November, December and January as the construction manager for Sharing Hope Ministries. I’m so looking forward to finally being able to come and help. I am in the support phase of raising funds to make the most of the blessing Sharing Hope Ministries are providing by including me. Any information you could provide between now and November would be greatly appreciated. I have a blog page up and running so I can blog daily while I’m working in this disaster relief mission. We have changed our trip to Oct. 18th to the 22nd. I have spoke to the organizer, Beverly Knight, and got the approval for those dates. We have around 25 people making this trip. As you can imagine in a group of that size, we have a number of abilities. Thank you for your assistance.

My son is 5 and we have been talking about the tornadoes in Henryville because there is a group coming down from our church. He has asked me and so I am asking you, are there kids that need anything that we could donate?
He asked specifically about stuffed animals but we are curious in general if there are donations needed for the children of the community.

I am project coordinator for our HOPE (Helping Other People Everywhere) Adult Mission Group. We are a skilled labor group who helps repair and rebuild damaged homes from tornados and floods. We are interested in bringing a group to Southern Indiana in the fall of 2012 or the spring of 2013. We are interested in more information about sites, projects, lodging, showers and meals. We do have our own group of cooks.

The church is having a meeting this Sunday to go over the plans for our mission trip. Pastor Cindy (Celebration UM Church Winona, IN) thinks it would be best for us to arrive there Thursday (Aug. 8) evening so we can get an early start Friday morning(Aug. 9) My phone got destroyed so I do not have any numbers to contact you.
